Why Stainless?
304 Stainless Steel is a very high grade of stainless steel that will not corrode, and has the ability to be polished to a mirror finish. Stainless steel is superior to chrome plating because it won't crack or peel as it isn't a surface coating but the substance from which the pipes are made. These will look and perform the same 20 years from now.
The polished mirror-like finish looks like chrome but it will not rust or peel (Photos look gold in color but the product actually looks like chrome (silver), this is due to the flash photography)
Construction
Very high quality, all 304 stainless steel construction inside and out. Our mufflers do not rust the muffler from the inside out. All welds are TIG welded.
Installation
STAINLESS RIDE mufflers can simply replace the stock mufflers. Most of our mufflers are classified as slip-ons for that reason. If you can take your stock mufflers off with the tools that you have, you can most definitely and easily install a STAINLESS RIDE muffler.
Warranty
All STAINLESS RIDE mufflers are guaranteed for life for material and workmanship. We can offer this because each muffler is made of 304 stainless steel that will never corrode, and our craftsmen create each muffler with pride. The only component that is not guaranteed for life is the fiberglass packing that some models use. This carries a 2 year 24,000 mile warranty against material defects.
Maintenance
304 stainless steel allows the muffler to be buffed back to a deep as-new brilliance throughout its life. Some customers have had their mufflers for over 20 years.
Sound
STAINLESS RIDE mufflers are created with 304 Stainless, delivering a mellow deep resonance. The straight-through baffle design ensures that the mufflers are loud when the throttle is wide open. However, while cruising, the exhaust note is pleasant and deep, especially nice after a long day’s ride.
We feel that a greatly styled motorcycle deserves a great sounding exhaust to accompany it. The factory that built your motorcycle was optimized to a different set of objectives, resulting in the original factory exhausts. Great sound is not the top objective resulting in many motorcycles sounding like sewing machines.
Great sound does not mean lots of noise. An obnoxious sounding exhaust is quite easily manufactured, and may result in some performance benefits, but typically at the very top end of the motor, where a street-rider seldom visits. We have the capability to build such pipes, but most of our customers would be unhappy with the results.
We group our sound performance into four (4) areas. Idle, Mid-Range Acceleration, Cruise, and Top-End.

Fitting to Your Bike
There should be no need for cutting, filing, welding, or any customization of a STAINLESS RIDE muffler. Our mufflers are a creation from extensive work with an actual motorcycle. From there production jigs are created to ensure consistent fit.
Please contact us or your dealer to clear up any questions that you may have concerning fitting. We stand behind our work and want you to be 100% satisfied with your mufflers.
Horsepower Gains
STAINLESS RIDE exhausts are engineered to improve the overall efficiency of a stock configured motorcycle. These are not an all out competition or racing exhausts, but are designed to help a street rider by improving mid-range torque, and quicker throttle response. On small displacement bikes (less than 1000 cc) expect 2-5 HP gains. On larger motors, expect as much can as 8-10 HP. If you also refrain from goosing the throttle to hear the beautiful sound, many riders report better fuel economy as well. Check out our charts!
